Why you'll love it
The right knife for every job with the Aurora 7-Piece Set.
From the bread knife for sourdough to the paring knife for peeling, the set has it covered. You stop grabbing whatever's clean and start using the knife that's made for it.
The Aurora knives have multicoloured resin and wood handles, so the whole set looks like it belongs together on the worktop. Every blade has a VG10 steel core inside the Damascus layers, hardened to 60-62 HRC, so the edges stay sharp for a long time between sharpenings.
Every knife in the set comes with a lifetime warranty.

Blade & performance
A high-carbon VG10 steel core, wrapped in 67 layers of stainless Damascus steel. The hard core holds a sharp edge for a long time, the layers around it add durability.
Core: high-carbon VG10 steel
Damascus: 67 layers of stainless steel
Edge: honed to 10-12° per side, for precise cuts with little effort
Care
Hand wash each knife with warm water and a drop of soap, then dry it right away. Never put it in the dishwasher: the heat and detergent dull the edge and damage the handle.
Hone each knife every few weeks and use a whetstone a few times a year, depending on how much you cook.
Delivery & returns
Free delivery on every order, tracked with Royal Mail. It arrives in 1 to 4 working days.
You have 200 days to return it. Return postage is on you, unless the knife is defective.
Lifetime warranty
Every Galaxy knife is covered for life against defects in material and workmanship. Something wrong with your blade? Send a photo to info@galaxyknives.com and we sort it out.
Not covered: damage from misuse or the dishwasher.
Every blade is forged from 67 layers of Damascus steel around a high carbon core, then hardened to 60-62 HRC. That is why it bites into a tomato skin instead of sliding over it, and why it holds its edge long after a supermarket knife has given up.
A good knife is one of the few gifts that gets used every single day. Every Galaxy knife ships in its own gift box, so it is ready to hand over the moment it arrives.

Hand wash your knife and dry it right after use, that alone keeps the edge in shape far longer. Hone it every few weeks and put it on a whetstone a few times a year, depending on how much you cook.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No. Detergent and heat dull the edge and damage the handle. Hand wash only, then dry it thoroughly.

The edge on the Boning knife is excellent. It handles fish with much more control than my old knives. The handle shape is comfortable even when I’m doing a longer batch of prep. Definitely one of the better kitchen purchases I’ve made.
I cook most nights and these have quickly become the knives I reach for first. I didn’t expect the Nakiri to become my favourite, but it is perfect for vegetable prep, particularly with cabbage. The 67-layer Damascus steel with a VG10 core was one of the reasons I chose this set.
I also really like the colourful resin-and-wood handles; it looks premium but still feels practical enough for daily use. The Nakiri feels balanced and predictable, which makes vegetable prep a lot more enjoyable. No regrets with this purchase.

The finish is beautiful, but what surprised me most was how controlled the knives feel. The finish is tidy and the handles have a comfortable, secure feel. For vegetable prep, the Nakiri has been spot on. Even cabbage feels much easier to work through.
