Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to every order placed on www.galaxyknives.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Age Restriction (18+)
Knives are age-restricted products. You must be at least 18 years old to buy knives from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not sell knives to anyone under 18, and we may cancel an order if we have reason to believe this is not the case.

In the United Kingdom, knives are delivered with an age check. The person accepting the parcel must be 18 or over and may be asked by the carrier to show valid photo ID. The parcel cannot be left in a safe place or with a neighbour.

If the parcel cannot be handed over because the recipient is under 18, or cannot show valid ID, the carrier will return it to us and we will cancel the order. Once the parcel is back with us, we will refund the purchase price minus the actual costs of delivery and return shipping.

3. Products

  • We describe and show our products as accurately as possible. Small differences in colour or pattern are possible; every Damascus blade has its own unique pattern.
  • All products are offered while stocks last. We may change or discontinue products at any time.
  • Our products are intended for household and professional kitchen use only.

4. Prices and Payment

  • Prices are shown in the currency of the country you shop from (for example GBP in the United Kingdom, EUR in the EU). You pay the amount in the currency shown at checkout.
  • Prices include VAT or GST where applicable, such as UK VAT for deliveries to the United Kingdom and EU VAT for deliveries within the EU.
  • All orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): customs duties and import taxes are included in the price at checkout, so you will not pay anything extra on delivery.
  • Payment is made at checkout using one of the payment methods shown there.
  • In the case of an obvious pricing error, we are not obliged to deliver at the incorrect price. We will contact you and you may cancel your order free of charge.

5. Your Order
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. The contract is formed at that moment. We may cancel an order if a product is unexpectedly out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your country, or in case of suspected fraud. If this happens, we will refund any payment in full.

6. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery times, costs and delivery conditions are described in our Shipping Policy. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the product is delivered to you.

7. Right to Cancel and Returns
As a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. On top of that, we offer 200 days to return your order. How this works, and what it costs, is described in our Return & Refund Policy.

8. Warranty
You always have your statutory rights if a product is faulty or not as described. In addition, we offer a lifetime warranty on our knives and a 2-year warranty on our cookware, covering defects in materials and workmanship. This extra warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, dishwasher damage, overheating or failure to follow the care instructions. Details are in our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Safe Use and Liability

  • Always handle our knives with care, keep them out of the reach of children and follow the care and use instructions.
  • We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper, careless or unintended use of our products.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, nor your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including texts, images, logos and designs, belongs to Omnify Group B.V. or its licensors. You may not use it without our written permission.

11. Privacy
We handle your personal data with care, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints
Are you not satisfied? Please let us know at info@galaxyknives.com. We aim to respond to complaints within 14 days. If we cannot resolve your complaint together, you may contact the competent consumer dispute body or court in your country.

13. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, such as the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to a court in your own country.

14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version published on our website at the time you placed it.
