Return & Refund Policy
200-day returns
We want you to love your Galaxy Knives products. If you're not completely happy, you can return your order within 200 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.
Your legal right to cancel
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the equivalent rules in the EU, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order without giving a reason. Our 200-day return window comes on top of this right and does not limit it.
How to return an item
- Email us at info@galaxyknives.com within 200 days of delivery with your order number and the item(s) you want to return. You can also use the cancellation form below, but this is not required.
- We'll email you the return address and instructions.
- Send the item(s) back within 14 days of contacting us. Please pack knives safely, with the blade covered, so nobody can get hurt in transit.
Condition of returned items
You're welcome to try your knife at home. We accept returns of knives that have been used normally, as long as they are complete and undamaged: no chips, bent tips or damage from a dishwasher or misuse. If a returned item is damaged beyond normal use, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value. Returning the item in its original packaging, including the gift box, helps us but is not a condition for a refund.
Personalised or engraved items cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
Return postage
Return postage is paid by you, unless the item is faulty, was damaged on arrival or we sent the wrong item. In those cases we cover the cost.
Refunds
We refund the full purchase price within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of receiving proof that you've sent it, whichever comes first. Refunds are made to your original payment method.
Damaged, faulty or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 14 days of delivery, with your order number and photos. We'll send a replacement or give you a full refund at no extra cost.
Warranty
Your statutory rights always apply if a product is faulty or not as described. On top of that, we offer:
- Knives: lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
- Cookware: 2-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
These warranties do not cover normal wear and tear (including natural wear of non-stick coatings), chips or damage caused by misuse (for example cutting bones or frozen food with a chef's knife, twisting the blade or dropping it), dishwasher use, overheating cookware, or not following the care instructions. To make a warranty claim, email us your order number, a description of the problem and photos.
