A high-carbon VG10 steel core, wrapped in 67 layers of stainless Damascus steel. The hard core holds a sharp edge for a long time, the layers around it add durability.

Care

How do I keep it sharp?

Hand wash your knife and dry it right after use, that alone keeps the edge in shape far longer. Hone it every few weeks and put it on a whetstone a few times a year, depending on how much you cook.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. Detergent and heat dull the edge and damage the handle. Hand wash only, then dry it thoroughly.
